Description
Rome has always worn its history. This pendant carries a fragment of it against your skin. Each piece is built tessera by tessera in Fabio Bordi's workshop, hand-cut marble, Venetian glass enamel, gold leaf, assembled under magnification with tools that have not changed in centuries. Not a reproduction of a technique. The technique itself, miniaturised to the scale of something you carry with you.
Materials: Polychrome marble, Venetian glass enamel, gold leaf tesserae.
