Carola Polimanti grew up in her uncle's Roman workshop, opened in the 1970s, surrounded by leather, sewing machines and craftspeople at work. Her mother carried on the tradition, making tailored leather garments and bags of lasting quality. Carola was always there, watching.
After finishing school, she joined her mother and never left. Thirty years later, she still works the same way: independently, emotionally, by hand. For her, leather is not just a material. It can be shaped, restored and renewed. It carries a story.
